truncate

Removes every row quickly and resets identity in PostgreSQL. It cannot be easily rolled back selectively.

truncate table name

DELETE FROM notes;
SELECT count(*) AS rows FROM notes;

TRUNCATE is not available in SQLite; use DELETE FROM without a WHERE clause.
