Deploy a real app
Ship a web app with a deployment, service, config, ingress and probes.
What you will be able to do
- Keep manifests in Git and apply declaratively.
- Use kubectl apply -f for a directory.
- Verify rollout status and endpoints.
- Roll back with kubectl rollout undo.
In plain English
The capstone assembles the objects you have learned into one manifest set. Apply them in order, verify endpoints, read logs and roll back if readiness fails. A deploy is not done until you have checked it.
kubectl apply -f k8s/
kubectl rollout status deployment/web --timeout=120s
kubectl get pods,svc,ingress
