The editor and GameObjects
A scene is a hierarchy of GameObjects; components give them behaviour.
What you will be able to do
- Use empty parent objects to group and position related GameObjects.
- Turn repeated objects into prefabs early.
- Keep the scene hierarchy shallow enough to reason about.
In plain English
A GameObject is a container; components add rendering, physics, audio and scripts. The Transform is always present and defines position, rotation and scale. Prefabs are reusable object templates, not copies you maintain by hand.
